Follow the spirit of Scotland on this five-day whisky adventure from Speyside’s smooth malts to the coastal charm of Oban.

If the sound of clinking glasses, copper stills and the peaty scent of Scotland’s finest single malts makes your heart skip a beat, this tour is for you.
Our 5 Day Whisky Tour is a warm, friendly journey through Scotland’s most celebrated whisky regions, from the rolling Highlands to Speyside’s Malt Whisky Trail and the dramatic west coast.
Along the way, you’ll meet passionate distillers, soak up stunning scenery, and perhaps discover your new favourite dram.
Highlights: Stirling Distillery • Deanston Distillery • Aberfeldy Distillery
Your whisky adventure begins in Edinburgh or Glasgow, where your friendly guide welcomes you aboard and sets the scene for the days ahead.
Our first stop is the Stirling Distillery, beautifully located at the foot of the historic Stirling Castle. This small, family-run distillery captures the spirit of old Scotland, blending traditional craft with a modern twist. Enjoy a guided tasting and learn how this young distillery is making its mark on the whisky scene.
Afterwards, we continue into the Highlands, stopping at Deanston Distillery, set on the banks of the River Teith. Housed in a former cotton mill, this characterful distillery produces smooth, honeyed malts powered entirely by sustainable hydro energy.
After lunch we will head north to Aberfeldy, a lovely Highland town surrounded by rivers, forests and rolling hills. This is our last stop of the day and the perfect place to unwind after your first day of exploration
Overnight: Aberfeldy or nearby Pitlochry.
Highlights: Selected Speyside Distillieries • Speyside Cooperage •
Today, we journey into Speyside, home to more than half of Scotland’s whisky distilleries and some of its most famous names. This lush, green valley along the River Spey is whisky heaven.
We’ll visit a selection of distilleries tailored to your interests, from world-renowned producers to smaller, family-run gems where time seems to move a little slower. Learn about the delicate balance of craft and tradition that makes Speyside whisky so distinctive.
A highlight of the day is the Speyside Cooperage, where skilled craftsmen shape and repair the oak casks that give whisky its unique colour and flavour. Watching these artisans at work is a fascinating glimpse into one of Scotland’s oldest crafts.
Overnight: Speyside or the surrounding area
Highlights: Glenmorangie Distillery • Balblair Distillery
Leaving Speyside behind, we travel north through the spectacular Cairngorms towards the rugged beauty of the Highlands. Our first stop is Glenmorangie Distillery in Tain, overlooking the Dornoch Firth. Renowned for its graceful, floral style, it’s the perfect introduction to the whiskies of the Northern Highlands.
After a coastal lunch, we continue to Balblair Distillery, one of Scotland’s oldest and most characterful producers. Its stone buildings and vintage-led releases evoke the timeless romance of Highland whisky-making.
Overnight: Inverness
